Okay…so everyone is getting tired of us calling Baby “the parasite.” And people definitely don’t want to call the baby parasite. *sigh* As if we would be offended…..we do it!
So to make everyone happy, Brian and I have come up with a nickname while we consider real names.
The parasite is now officially named, Beta!
Yes, you read that right, Beta. Not like the fish. That would be weird. Beta like in software releases. During week 1-12, babies are in Alpha. You really aren’t telling folks about it cause its so fragile.
Then you get into second trimester…there is substance. It is better developed, so its Beta. More and more people know about the Beta. Once the baby is fairly viable, it’s new nickname will be RC 1 (aka release candidate). As we have false labors thinking this little one is coming out to see the world, it moves up to RC 2, then RC 3, etc.
So there you have it. If you are one that does not want to refer to our baby as parasite, then you may now call it Beta. Appropiately nicknamed, don’t you think?
I think it is very appropriate!!! I am curious to see if any of these nicknames stick after the baby is born!
