…but some people just don’t know when to back off or shut up. Breathe, let them have their say, and then do what you think you need to do because it is the right thing. They’ll bug you about “everyone else does it” and they’ll pester you because “you must have this experience.” You, my sweet child, are to have the experiences we can give you, and then, not too long after, the experiences you choose. Don’t let anyone else bully you into them. Your life, and when you are ready for it, your rules. We’ll do the best we can to equip you, educate you, and enjoy who you are. We won’t always be nice, you won’t always like what we do, and frankly, you’ll do things that perturb us. But the world, the society you live in, will always tell you what you should do. We hope to encourage you to be better.
